Frequently Asked Questions

Can I submit my own tutorials to the site?

We absolutely want to allow users to submit their own tutorials. At this time, we don't have the site set up in such a way as to allow you to automatically upload your own tutorials. However, if are interested in creating tutorials, please email us at "adam.davis AT showmeacademy DOT com". We would love to talk to you about it.

How much does this cost?

Nothing! All tutorials on the site are free. You don't even need to register. Just drill down to the tutorial you want and start watching.

In what format are these tutorials recorded?

The default format for all tutorials is Windows Media. We originally set out to create Flash files, but were shocked to find that the Flash files were often somewhat larger and had poorer audio quality.

Will you be offering tutorials in other formats?

We may decide to offer all tutorials in Windows Media and Flash - we will monitor the situation and make a decision soon.

Can I suggest a topic for a new tutorial?

Certainly. Please email all suggestions to "adam.davis AT showmeacademy DOT com". We cannot guarantee that your suggestion will be turned into a tutorial, but we will try. If your suggestion becomes a tutorial we will notify you via email when it is posted.

How do I know when new tutorials have been posted?

The most effective method is to subscribe to our RSS feed. New tutorials will immediately show up in our feed. You can also subscribe to our YouTube channel.
