Show me how to format row height and column width in Microsoft Excel 2007

Excel -> Microsoft Excel 2007

Problem: The table data does not fit properly within the width (or height) of the column (or row).



  1. Open Microsoft Excel 2007
  2. Right-click on a row header
  3. On the context menu, click the "Row Height..." item
  4. On the "Row Height" window, in the "Row height:" field, type a new value for the row height
  5. Click the "OK" button
  6. Move the mouse over the top or bottom edge of the row header (the cursor will turn into a horizontal line with arrows pointing upward and downward from it)
  7. Left-click on row edge and drag it up or down
  8. Double-click on the bottom edge of the row header
  9. Right-click on a column header
  10. On the context menu, click the "Column Width..." item
  11. On the "Column Width" window, in the "Column width:" field, type a new value for the column width
  12. Click the "OK" button
  13. Move the mouse over the left or right edge of the column header (the cursor will turn into a vertical line with arrows pointing to the right and left of it)
  14. Left-click on the column edge and drag it to the right or left
  15. Double-click on the right edge of the column header
