Show me how to format row height and column width in Microsoft Excel 2007
Excel -> Microsoft Excel 2007Problem: The table data does not fit properly within the width (or height) of the column (or row).
- Open Microsoft Excel 2007
- Right-click on a row header
- On the context menu, click the "Row Height..." item
- On the "Row Height" window, in the "Row height:" field, type a new value for the row height
- Click the "OK" button
- Move the mouse over the top or bottom edge of the row header (the cursor will turn into a horizontal line with arrows pointing upward and downward from it)
- Left-click on row edge and drag it up or down
- Double-click on the bottom edge of the row header
- Right-click on a column header
- On the context menu, click the "Column Width..." item
- On the "Column Width" window, in the "Column width:" field, type a new value for the column width
- Click the "OK" button
- Move the mouse over the left or right edge of the column header (the cursor will turn into a vertical line with arrows pointing to the right and left of it)
- Left-click on the column edge and drag it to the right or left
- Double-click on the right edge of the column header
