Show me how to use tabbed browsing in Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
Internet Explorer -> Microsoft Internet Explorer 7Problem: I want to have multiple web pages open at the same time but I don't want to open a brand new browser window for each page.
- Open Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
- Click the "Tools" menu
- Click the "Tools -> Internet Options" item
- On the "Internet Options" window, on the "General" tab, under "Tabs", click the "Settings" button
- Click the "Enabled Tabbed Browsing" checkbox
- Restart Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
- Click "New Tab" pane (it's the blank partial tab that shows up to the right of the last open tab)
- Click "Home" button
- Right-click on an existing hyperlink
- On the context menu, click "Open in New Tab"
- Click on newly-created tab
- Click the "Quick Tabs" button (it looks like a four-paned window and it's to the left of the first open tab)
- Hover over the image of the first web page and right-click
- Click "Refresh All"
- Hover over the image of the first web page and right-click
- Click "Close Other Tabs"
- Open several more tabs
- Click the "Tab List" button (it's the little down-arrow to the left of the first open tab)
- From the resulting drop-down list choose any of the open tabs
